From 1925 there was a general expansion of production and consumption activity, led by the United States, a stage known as Big Business. Its industrial development was spectacular and increased productivity led to increased jobs, wages, hire purchase favoring a new consumer and creating a new lifestyle. This lifestyle would be followed by Europe. They say they were the "Roaring Twenties".
